Ali Forney Center

The Ali Forney Center provides housing, healthcare, and educational programs for LGBTQ+ homeless youth. The Center offers a stable home where youth can receive counseling, mentorship, and skills. The goal of the center is to help these young people build stable, independent lives.

American Cancer Society

The American Cancer Society (ACS) is a nonprofit organization that leads the fight to end cancer through research, education, and advocacy. Established in 1913, the ACS supports cancer patients and their families by funding treatments and providing resources to help navigate cancer diagnoses.

American Red Cross

In times of crisis, the American Red Cross offers vital support to local communities. This nonprofit provides disaster relief, blood services, and educational programs related to emergency preparedness. Their central mission is to alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.

Boys & Girls Club of America

Boys & Girls Club of America (BGCA) is a nonprofit organization focused on empowering youth across the United States through mentorship, after-school programs, and community activities. The BGCA's mission is to help young people build confidence, develop leadership skills, and reach their full potential.

City Harvest

City Harvest is New York City's largest food rescue organization, dedicated to reducing food waste while simultaneously feeding the city’s most vulnerable populations. The organization collects food that would go to waste from restaurants, bakeries, and cafes and distributes it to food pantries and community organizations.

Citymeals on Wheels

Citymeals on Wheels delivers nourishing meals and ongoing companionship to New York City’s homebound elderly. Citymeals on Wheels aims to help isolated seniors maintain their independence and well-being. Along with regular meals, the organization provides holiday meals and shelf-stable meals during emergencies.

Coalition for the Homeless

Coalition for the Homeless advocates for the rights of the homeless and their families in New York City. The Coalition provides direct services, such as meals, clothing, and shelter, to address immediate needs, and champions policy reforms to combat the root causes of homelessness in the city.

Feeding America is the largest network of food banks in the United States, connecting over 200 organizations to feed Americans. Through food pantries, soup kitchens, shelters, and other community initiatives, Feeding America distributes nutritious meals to over 46 million people.

Housing Works

Housing Works is a NYC-based nonprofit fighting homelessness and HIV/AIDS. It provides housing, healthcare, and food for those in need, advocates for supportive legislation, and funds its mission through thrift shops and bookstores that also create community jobs.

New York Cares

As the largest volunteer organization in NYC, New York Cares mobilizes volunteers to address critical community needs. Their volunteer initiatives include tutoring programs, food relief efforts, health programs, and public space revitalization. New York Cares is designed to connect volunteers year-round with unique opportunities to give back.

Smile Train

The largest cleft-focused organization in the world, Smile Train is a global nonprofit that provides free cleft repair surgeries and ongoing care for children in developing countries. Smile Train's goal is to reduce the global impact of cleft lip and/or palate by empowering local medical professionals to deliver life-saving treatments.

St. Jude Children's Research Hospital

Based in Memphis, St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital pioneers treatment and research for childhood cancer and other serious illnesses. As the only NCI-designated cancer center devoted solely to children, it leads global efforts to improve outcomes through groundbreaking pediatric research and care.

Through investments in agriculture, education, health, and microfinance, the Hunger Project promotes self-reliance and long-term food security in locations across Africa, South Asia, and Latin America.

Youth On Their Own

Youth On Their Own (YOTO) supports the graduation and continued success of homeless and at-risk youth across Pima County, Arizona. YOTO provides mentorship, financial assistance, and basic resources with the goal of reducing barriers to education and increasing graduation rates.
